Rural vandalism of the day
The Long Man of Wilmington is looooooong. See what we did there?A 6m (20ft) member has been added to famous chalk hill carving a Long Man of Wilmington.
It is suspicion pranksters used a football pitch marker for a attempt in East Sussex.
Sussex Archaeological Society said: There has been a satisfactory bit of sniggering about it. The paint is approaching to wash away.
The Long Man of Wilmington lies on a slopes of Windover Hill, 9 miles from Eastbourne and is suspicion to date back to around a 16th century. Metro.co.uk | via
